Admired Exteriors has over 15 years experience working with insurance companies and has
handled thousands of insurance claims. In many cases, we have assisted insurance companies with the identification of the
damage and estimating the claim. Insurance companies typically obtain the replacement cost by multiplying the fair market
value (in your area) by the amount of roofing that needs to be replaced.

1. What's the first step?
2. Who selects the roofing company? 3. Will my insurance company pay for my roof replacement? 4. Is my roof's age an issue? 5. How much of the cost am I responsible for? 6. Am I allowed to upgrade any materials used on my repair? |
What's the first step? Contact your insurance agent and advise them of the damage you have incurred. If you are unsure if you have damage, call an Admired Exteriors roofing consultant.

Will my insurance company pay for my roof replacement? Yes. If there is damage to your roof caused by an "act of nature" such as rain or hail, your insurance company will pay for it. |

Is my roof's age an issue? The age of a roof does affect how much the insurance company will pay if you have an ACV (Actual Cash Value) policy. |

How much of the cost am I responsible for? This depends on your deductible and the type of policy you have. |

Am I allowed to upgrade any materials used on my repair? Yes. However, you are responsible for any amount over the insurance company’s quoted price. This is a great time to upgrades because the insurance company will be paying for the majority of the replacement cost. Also, if you have another “act of nature” claim, the insurance company will quote you for the higher grade of materials. |
